Next Steps to Becoming a Comfort Keepers® Franchisee

Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Comfort Keepers® franchise opportunity. Your franchise development representative will guide you through the following steps in order to give you enough information to make an informed decision. Our mutual evaluation process generally takes between 6-8 weeks.

  1. Introduction to Comfort Keepers®
In our initial phone conversation, you will be introduced to all of the following: the non-medical in-home care industry; our company; the Comfort Keepers business concept; and the role of the franchisee in this business.

  2. You Submit a Confidential Questionnaire
Your information will be held in the strictest of confidence and in order for us to move forward in the process you must complete this next step in our mutual evaluation process.

  3. Support Overview
This will be an in-depth conversation with your franchise development representative where you will learn about Comfort Keepers ongoing support, training programs, marketing programs, franchisee support center, and the field and sales support. You will not be alone!

  4. Franchisee Due Diligence and Schedule Discovery Day
At this point you have amassed a basic understanding of how a Comfort Keepers franchise operates. This necessary background will enable you to speak comfortably with Comfort Keepers franchisees as you validate your understanding. Now it is time to schedule your Discovery Day visit!

  5. Franchise Disclosure Document and In-Depth Territory Discussion
For your protection the Federal Trade Commission requires that franchisors provide a disclosure document. Read it carefully for a greater understanding of what our mutual relationship will be and take it to your advisors. Then you’ll be ready for the next important step, the discussion of how we will define your protected territory.

  6. Discovery Day
Discovery Day is your final step in the mutual evaluation process before the final decision is made to award you a franchise. This is your opportunity to meet some of the people who will support you as a Comfort Keepers franchisee. In addition, you will be able to witness the depth of the franchise support center organization, and validate first hand what our franchisees have told you.

  7. Receive Franchise Agreement
The Federal Trade Commission requires us to give you your franchise agreement 7 days before you sign it or pay us any money in connection with the agreement.

  8. Sign Franchise Agreements, Receive the Pre-Opening Manual, and Schedule Training
Congratulations you are now a Comfort Keepers franchisee and well on your way to opening your office!

  9. Attend The 8 Day Training Class At Our Franchisee Support Center
This dynamic and interactive training class is where you receive comprehensive training on the sales and networking techniques to grow your business, human resource training for successful recruiting and retaining, client care instruction, sales, operations, and management of your business and much, much more..

  10. Grand Opening
Remember you are in business for yourself, not by yourself with a Comfort Keepers franchise!
